Rutilated Quartz Teardrop wrapped in 14kt gold wrapped around .925 silver. I found this source for Rutilated Quartz and fell in love. I told myself that these were the stones for me to start wrapping gold with. They have the prettiest fibers of gold in them that looked to be perfect to contrast my gold and silver with. And when it came time to finish the piece it all went perfectly smooth. So smooth that I felt I could do it again and or want to do it again. So this is my first ever Gold piece. Solid 14kt gold no gold filled stuff here to stay true to my soul of only using solid materials. I hope to sell this to someone who can love it as much as I do; or keep it forever for being my first gold wire wrap.
