Most definitely one of the prettiest opals I've ever had the pleasure of working with bought raw and cleaned to this point it catches all the colors and opal can catch. Only appropriate to be my second world wire piece. And mos def fills the role of a gold wire pendant. This stone called for something pretty and shiny to frame it and call it home. And 14kt gold works well with it. Without a glisson and shimmers it's clay gray, and then catches light and flickers golden, pink, blue, maroon, green and yellow.
